In recent days, the FIA ​​has officially canceled the 1st round of the OK-OK Junior European Championship in Kristianstad and consequently the single-gear categories will have a 3-stage Championship: Zuera on August 2nd, Sarno on August 23rd and Wackersdorf on September 13th. The KZ classes, on the other hand, will compete in the European Championship on 2 events: the first in Adria on August 16th and the final in Genk on September 6th.

At the foot of the Vesuvius volcano, the Circuito Internazionale Napoli in Sarno is a great venue for kart racing which has been regularly included in the FIA Karting Competition calendar for many years. Under the guidance of Giuseppe Sorrentino, both the site and the track are constantly being improved to the delight of the competitors, who often cite it as one of their favourite circuits.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic currently spreading throughout much of the world and the extended period of quarantine in Italy, the CIK-FIA has postponed the date of the next event in Sarno.
