The informal chat with CRG owner Giancarlo Tinini is a classic end-of-year event, a meeting in which it is time to take stock of the season that has just ended, looking at the year that is about to begin by talking about objectives, both sporting and commercial. This season CRG has been one of the main brands in the spotlight in the FIA international races, taking the 2nd place in the two most important European Championships (in KZ with Jeremy Iglesias and in OK with Gabriel Gomez), the title of Vice World Champion in KZ with Viktor Gustafsson and P2 with Alessandro Manetti in the KZ2 Master World Cup. The OK World Champion title could also have been added to this trail of notable results if Gabriel Gomez had not been stopped by an accident when he was the leader of the race.

The opening round of the WSK Master, which took place in Adria from the 25^th to the 28^th February, has been the first outing for nearly the whole CRG team, with all 4 categories (Mini, Junior, Ok and KZ) on the track at the same time.

The 2020 season has been completely unlike any other. All kart races on French soil have been cancelled in the wake of the latest government decisions. However, the world championships in the OK and OK-Junior categories will go ahead as scheduled, unless there is some last-minute upset, next weekend (6-8 November) at Portimao in the south of Portugal. Arthur Rogeon from the Pays de la Loire region is one of France’s hopes in the Junior category, and he is already on the spot like the majority of his rivals in this eagerly-awaited world championship event. In the Algarve he raced in the second and last round of the Champions of the Future Series to play himself in. Make no mistake, the Exprit Racing Team driver is primed and raring to go!
