The Kalì Kart Racing Team is pleased to welcome Sam Woolley who will join the team for the OK Junior category. The English driver was born in Urmstom, Manchester in September 2010 and began racing go-karts at the age of 8 in the Mini categories, achieving many notable results at national level. His first international experiences were made in the X30 Junior category in which, at the beginning of this season, he won the Hivern Cup Spain and obtained P2 in the Winter Cup of Valencia.

For multiple karting champion Bart Ploeg it was almost routine, picking up a trophy at the annual NK IAME champions' ceremony, but it did not make him any less proud. He had become Dutch champion in the X30 Seniors class. The just seventeen year old karter from Heijningen lives to win. He will hopefully do that again next season. It would be true to say that Jimmy Helias didn’t mess up his debut in OK, the top-tier kart category without a gearbox. Six years after becoming the youngest-ever French champion in the history of motor sport, the driver from Evreux – 14 years old on 1st September – finished on the third step of the podium on his first attempt, in the WSK Final Cup at Sarno: a hugely-promising result in view of the 2023 season!

On Friday 14 May, 174 drivers from 42 countries took part in the Qualifying Practice for the first of the four 2021 FIA Karting European Championship - OK and Junior - events at the Genk circuit (BEL). The changing weather situation played a role in the overall standings, although the track remained dry apart from a short shower in the second timed OK session. Singapore's Askay Bohra took the Junior pole position and the American Ugo Ugochukwu took the top class.

With the 2021 season about to start, the CRG Racing Team has made official the last pieces to complete the team’s new driver line-up, announcing three Spanish drivers: Sandro Perez for the Mini category, Adrian Ferrer for the OK-Junior and Ruben Moya for the OK.

In the first change of 2021, the official racing team of the Parolin Racing Kart factory has changed its name to become Parolin Motorsport Srl, a racing team in its own right. After its numerous successes in Mini, OK-Junior and OK, Parolin will make its big comeback in KZ with strong ambitions. In total, this season the Parolin Motorsport team will include 18 drivers from 13 nations in the four international categories, while technical collaboration continues with the TM Racing factory.

At the end of the weekend in Genk, the RSZ and RTZ engines are getting another prestigious result thanks to Simo Puhakka (Tony Kart Racing Team) who gains the third position in the KZ FIA Karting European Championship.

The International Karting circus will be in Italy again this coming weekend as OK and OK Junior are all set to run their 2nd round of the FIA European Championship in Sarno.

Parolin Racing Kart caused a sensation in Zuera with the remarkable competitiveness of its official karts. Rinicella's pole position in OK-Junior was like a thunderbolt in the Aragonese desert, and the rest of the competition confirmed the Italian brand's leading potential.

As all the sectors of International sports, including F1 and football, karting has to face the Covid-19 emergency trying to evaluate all the options available to save the season, despite still there are no certainties on the time needed to end this sanitary emergency and all the restrictions imposed by the Governments of all over the globe.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic currently spreading throughout much of the world and the extended period of quarantine in Italy, the CIK-FIA has postponed the date of the next event in Sarno.

Everything is ready now, in view of the 2020 season, for the debut of the structure by OTK Kart Group: the Exprit Racing Team, taking the Exprit chassis officially onto the track in the CIK-FIA and WSK competitions led by the World Champion Patrik Hajek.

From victory at the Winter Cup at the beginning of the season to successes in the WSK throughout the year, including a new European Championship, the Energy Corse brand and its official team completed a series of victorious meetings at the international level in 2019. All these trophies won by the drivers in the Energy Corse colours are the result of meticulous work to offer competitive equipment to the drivers, recognised technical knowledge and high quality racing team staff.
