Munich: Ravenol will become the official lubricants partner of the ADAC Formula 4 for the 2020 season. The German specialist engine oil and lubricants manufacturer is increasing its involvement with the support series that underpin the ADAC GT Masters platform and will also supply engine oil for the cars driven by the young talents in the ADAC Formula 4 this coming season while continuing to work in tandem with both ADAC GT Masters and ADAC GT4 Germany.
Ravenol and ADAC Motorsport have had a close partnership for a number of years now. The lubricants manufacturer has been involved with the ADAC GT Masters since 2016, and in 2018, the famous company from the small town of Werther not far from Bielefeld became one of the founding partners of the ADAC GT4 Germany. Ravenol and the ADAC will reveal details about their latest partnership this Sunday afternoon in the new weekly online programme 'PS on Air - The Ravenol ADAC GT Masters talk show'. Ravenol's Director of Motorsport, Martin Huning said: "After successfully acting as partners to various GT series run by the ADAC while also being involved with formula motor racing at all levels around the world, including Formula 1, it seemed logical to extend that commitment to the ADAC Formula 4, in which we have been active for many years, working very closely with certain teams. We are delighted now to be able to give our backing to the ADAC Formula 4 as official lubricants partner."
ADAC Head of Motorsport and Classic, Thomas Voss added: "The ADAC GT Masters has benefited from Ravenol's support since 2016, during which time they have shown themselves to be extremely reliable partners, and the company's products are used by many teams in the paddock of the ADAC GT Masters. We are therefore very pleased to see that in future, Ravenol also intend to support our successful promotion of young talent in the ADAC Formula 4 as official lubricants partner." The Ravenol logo will be prominently displayed on front wing endplates of the ADAC Formula 4 racing cars during the 2020 season and on drivers' overalls. Ravenol RSS SAE 10W-60 engine oil has already undergone successful trials on the test bench and is the lubricant of choice for the cars' 160 bhp Abarth engines.
