Xcel Motorsport has announced that Jack Sherwood will join the team for his full-time GB3 Championship graduation in 2025. Sherwood joins the team and GB3 after an impressive season in the 2024 British F4 Championship, in which he secured multiple podium finishes.
 

The British driver is no stranger to the MSV paddock, having made his single-seater debut in the GB4 Championship in 2022, taking fifth place in the standings after a late season burst of form that netted nine podiums and two victories. He also contested a single GB3 event at Zandvoort a year later.
 

Since then, the 18-year-old rose to prominence in British F4, with podium finishes at Donington Park National, Brands Hatch, Snetterton, Thruxton, Zandvoort, Donington Park Grand Prix, and Silverstone as he secured fifth place in the final standings. Off the back of those strong performances, Jack is now gearing up for his first full effort in GB3, with aspirations of fighting at the sharp end.
 

Jack Sherwood said: “I’m really excited to be joining Xcel Motorsport for my rookie GB3 season. After a strong 2024 in British F4, I feel ready to take this next step.
