Italian racing teams, Iron Lynx and PREMA, today announced that they have joined forces under the control of the Swiss-based company DC Racing Solutions Ltd., becoming one of the largest international groups in motorsport.
Both Iron Lynx and PREMA are competing successfully across multiple championships at present, so there will be no changes in the operations of either team. At PREMA, the Rosin family and all existing management will remain in place. Both teams will continue to specialise in their areas of excellence within the sport and will collaborate on future ambitious projects. The aim of the enterprise is to present a racing platform for young talents, professional drivers and client racers, covering GT racing and single-seaters. Naturally, this will also benefit the Iron Dames project, an integral part of Iron Lynx, providing even more opportunities to guide female drivers to the very highest level in motorsport. Iron Lynx Team Principal, Andrea Piccini, commented: “The opportunity to bring together these two teams is hugely positive for the industry and the sport. We now have even more options to grow and guide young drivers.” PREMA Team Principal, Rene Rosin, concurred: “We have already identified shared passions and synergies within PREMA and Iron Lynx. We look forward to working closely together and exploiting the opportunities afforded by bringing together two such successful organisations.” Giacomo Piccini, Racing Advisor for DC Racing Solutions, who will head up the project, added: “This structure will fast-track the development of future driving talents and will provide racing opportunities across multiple disciplines.” Further announcements will be made towards the end of the 2021 season, during which both Iron Lynx and PREMA will be supporting one another in their challenge for championships across the globe.
