Victor Bernier (FA Racing) made the best start to his race weekend in Barcelona by setting the fastest time in the first collective test, which officially kicked off the penultimate round of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine.
The French driver topped the times (1m41.627s) in the final stage of the session and put him only 0.036s clear of R-ace GP’s Hadrien David. Good performance also by Kas Haverkort (Van Amersfoort Racing) who managed to get the third best time ahead of his teammate Levente Revesz, next up in fourth for and 0.220s further back.
Arden’s Noel Leon was fifth, 0.021s ahead from championship leader Dino Beganovic (Prema Racing), who ended the session gaining the sixth fastest time.
MP Motorsport’s Sami Meguetounif was next up in seventh and 0.019s ahead of ART Grand Prix’s Gabriele Minì, with the Swiss Joshua Dufek (Van Amersfoort Racing) and Leonardo Fornaroli (Trident Motorsport) rounded out the top-ten.
