After setting the third position in the morning session, Michael Belov secured the best time of the day at Monza.
MP Motorsport’s driver recorded the quickest time of anybody this afternoon with a lap of 1m 46.509s. Paul Aron (Prema Racing) who topped the times this morning, finished second 0.048s ahead of Mari Boya and his teammate Gabriele Minì (ART Grand Prix). The Italian recorded the fourth fastest time after leading the field in the first part of the afternoon session. Dino Beganovic (Prema Racing) and Hadrien David (R-ace GP) wounded up fifth and sixth. Kas Haverkort (Van Amersfoort Racing) was next up in seventh ahead Joshua Durksen (Arden Motorsport).
Sami Meguetounif (MP Motorsport), making his debut in the series was ninth, with Pietro Delli Guanti (RPM) tenth and only 0.725 seconds off the overall fastest.
The Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine field will be back in action for the first qualifying session of the year at 09.40am tomorrow. Live timing will be available throughout the day, while qualifying and Race 1 will be live streamed on official YouTube and Facebook of the series (links at formularegionaleubyalpine.com).
