PREMA Powerteam announces that Conrad Laursen will join its line-up for the 2021 Italian Formula 4 Championship and selected events of the ADAC Formula 4 Championship. The 15-year-old Dane will make the step up from to the Italian Formula 4 series after taking the Renault F4 Danish title in 2020 with two wins and a total of eight podiums out of nine races. Following his recent success, he was named Talent Of The Year by the Danish Automobile Sports Union (DASU). Coming from a solid karting background, Laursen had the chance to meet the Italian operation for testing at the end of last year and is now set to join PREMA for his first foray in one of the world's most competitive F4 Championship.
Angelo Rosin - Team Principal
"We are really pleased to welcome Conrad to our 2021 team. We already had the chance to work with him in testing last season, and I have to say we were impressed. Having already worked in anticipation of the coming championship, I am sure that Conrad has what it takes to succeed in his first season at this level and we look forward to seeing him make further progress.”
