Prema Powerteam keeps growing stronger in preparation for the upcoming Formula 4 season and is delighted to announce that Estonian sensation Paul Aron will be joining the team's ranks for the full 2019 Italian Championship. The 15-year-old racer will also enter selected rounds of the German ADAC-backed series. Aron will make his debut in single-seaters coming from an outstanding karting career. After starting racing in 2012, he stepped up to international karting competition in 2015 and quickly made his way through the junior ranks. He then delivered an amazing 2018 season, winning the CIK-FIA OKJ European Championship, the WSK Champions Cup, the South Garda Winter Cup and ending up third in the WSK Super Master Series. Aron established himself as one of the brightest young prospects making the jump to auto racing in 2019, and his skills did not go unnoticed. He is now ready to start the 2019 season. Angelo Rosin - Team Principal "We are extremely satisfied with how our 2019 Formula 4 line-up is getting shaped-up and finally nearing completion. Our line-up for the upcoming Formula 4 season is almost complete and we are looking forward to working with Paul. It is always great to work with someone with such a great pedigree in karting, and although there will be a lot of new things to learn, we think he will gel with the team very quickly, becoming an immediate threat for the other frontrunners." Paul Aron "I am delighted to join Prema Powerteam for my first year in single seaters and in Formula 4 competition. Last year I had a really successful season in karting, and looking forward to doing the same in car racing, Prema felt like the best option to carry on that winning path in Formula 4 too. I already got some insight into the team and series thanks to my brother, who drove for Prema and won the Italian Formula 4 Championship in the past. It would be great to continue following his footsteps and I cannot wait for the start of the season."
