Abu Dhabi Racing by PREMA is delighted to announce the team’s line-up for the upcoming F3 Asian Championship, starting on January 29 and 30 at Dubai Autodrome. Guan Yu Zhou will enter the full championship, the Chinese racer making a welcome return to the team. Zhou raced with PREMA Powerteam in the Italian Formula 4 Championship and Formula 3 European Championship, emerging as a highly competitive contender.
As previously announced, Dino Beganovic will share one car with his Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine team-mate David Vidales. The 16 year-old Swede and the 18-year-old Spaniard will enter selected rounds in anticipation of their 2021 campaigns. The father-daughter duo of Khaled Al Qubaisi and Amna Al Qubaisi will share driving duties too. A proven winner at Yas Marina and Abu Dhabi in Endurance GT Competition, Khaled Al Qubaisi will return to the series after debuting last year while Amna will make her way back to single seaters to take a key step from her Formula 4 racing experiences.
Rene Rosin - Team Principal
"This is going to be an extremely interesting championship featuring experienced drivers, rookies and surprising new additions. It's great to welcome Zhou back with us. It has been a pleasure to work with him in the past and there is a lot of mutual respect between us. I think it will be a great chance for Dino, who is moving up from Formula 4, and for David, who will gain more insight and experience. I look forward to being back working with Amna and having Khaled with us further consolidates our relationship with Abu Dhabi Racing which we always take in great consideration.”
