The 4th and final round of the FIA Karting European Championship - OK & Junior will take place from 1st to 4th August on the Kristianstad circuit, in Sweden. For Gabriel Gomez the title race will be an almost fool's errand, with 71 points to recover from his direct opponent Joe Turney, currently leader of the Championship with 234 points.

McLaren Racing today announced that 2023 World Junior Karting Champion Dries Van Langendonck has joined the McLaren Driver Development programme.

Parolin Motorsport showed its competitiveness in Sweden at the fourth round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series at Kristianstad. Christian Costoya finished 2nd in the OK-Junior Final, setting the fastest lap after a fine progression from the heats.

The KR chassis' stranglehold on the OK category continues in the highly competitive Champions of the Future Euro Series. After the season-opening one-two in Valencia, the Italian brand has now taken three consecutive one-twos in Val d'Argenton, Slovakia and Kristianstad.

On the Kristianstad track, the fourth round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series was not accompanied by positive results for the OK drivers using Birel ART / TM Kart packages. At MotorLand Aragón, the site of the first round of the FIA Karting European Championship for KZ, KZ2 and KZ2 Masters classes, their official driver Tom Leuillet steadily runs in a place at the top of the standings, however he is forced to retire in Sunday's final.

Parolin Motorsport, competing in the European KZ Championship, returned from the first round with a very encouraging top three thanks to Lorenzo Travisanutto's superb Final run. In KZ2, Maksim Orlov also finished 3rd with the Modena Kart team, while Riccardo Nalon finished on the KZ2 Masters podium with Erre Esse Motorsport.

The KZ categories confirm themselves in the DNA of CRG, which for years has continued to be one of the most constant brands at the top of international races in the gear classes. On Sunday afternoon, Senna Van Walstijn (NLD) in KZ, Daniel Vasile (ROU) in KZ2 and Anthony Abbasse (FRA) in KZ2 Masters were rewarded for their Final victories.

The first FIA Karting meeting in the KZ categories began with a true verdict on the Sodi chassis, which took the lead in the three European KZ, KZ2 and KZ2-Masters Championships. On the MotorLand Aragón circuit in Alcañiz, Senna Van Walstijn dominated the KZ Final with the official team.

The first of the two rounds of the Mondokart.com FIA Karting European Championship - KZ, KZ2 and KZ2 Masters will head to Spain from 4th to 7th July 2024. 155 drivers have registered for the Alcaniz event, representing 29 nations. With 27 KZs, the premier class is well-supported. More than ten official teams directly represent the biggest chassis brands at the highest level. 91 KZ2 entries are close to the record entry list, while the 37 KZ2 Masters show there is real interest from this age group in international competition.
