Francesco Celenta was aiming for a top five finish in the KZ class, but was unable to finish the meeting due to injury.

James Wharton's first ever participation in the FIA Karting European Championship in KZ2, where he was one of the youngest entrants, was a particularly positive experience. In Germany, his high level of performance enabled him to compete with much more experienced drivers. From Qualifying to the Final, the Australian from the Ferrari Driver Academy was able to progress to cross the finish line in a convincing 8th position.

The team was ready for the first round of the KZ-KZ2 FIA Karting European Championship and achieved third place in KZ2 with Laurens Van Hoepen. It was a special weekend for the Leclerc by Lennox Racing team at the Prokart Raceland circuit in Germany. TM Racing motorized CL chassis showed their potential in both classes, KZ2 and KZ.

The young Latvian Tomass Stolcermanis demonstrated this during the second round of the FIA Karting European Championship by finishing 3rd in the OK-Junior category.
