His progress was steady and he was able to gain a lot of experience, as was the case during the FIA Karting European Championship which ended in Spain on the Zuera circuit.

On the Spanish track, the DJT engine, with Freddie Slater and Ean Eyckmans, signs a double win in the final of the OKJ class and becomes the 2021 Champion of the FIA Karting European Championship. Podium also in the OK class.

The rising stars of the Italian factory benefited from even more competitive equipment to assert their talent at the highest level. In the Junior class, Orlov took another podium, Al Dhaheri finished in the top five and Spina showed his strong potential in OK.

On Friday 23th July, 139 participants took part in the qualifying practice for the latest European competition, 56 in OK and 83 in OK-Junior, in temperatures ranging from 35 to 39°.

The OK and OK-Junior classes will still be in action on the Spanish track of Zuera this weekend for the 4^th and final round of the FIA ​​European Championship. After last week's Champions of the Future preparation race, the whole paddock stopped in Spain for this last important event, before the summer break.

Due to multiple changes in the 2021 international karting calendar a decision has been made between the promoter RGMMC and the teams competing to postpone the 3rd round of the 2021 Champions of the future series, which was originally scheduled for the 4th to the 8th of August at 7 Laghi Kart, Castelletto di Branduzzo, to a later date at the end of the season.

This year’s great start to the series continued in Spain, with two enormous fields in the two categories battling it on in the heat of Zuera, seeing many leaders, with some surprises adding to the established names! Another fantastic event took place in the Circuito Internacional de Zuera, in Spain, under clear blue skies and temperatures reaching 37C, with the two OK categories reaching record numbers of attendance.
