Ten weeks after the season kick-off in Kerpen, the German Kart Championship is going to start into its next round. In Belgian Genk, more than 100 drivers are going to start and fight for further Championship points in the four grade series DKM, DJKM, DSKM and DSKC in the anniversary season.

On the first weekend in April, the anniversary season of the German Kart Championship starts at the Erftlandring in Kerpen. 2022 will be a special season for the German Kart Championship. The international kart racing series celebrates its 60th birthday and is looking forward to an exciting program. Since the start of enrolment in mid-January, the fields of participants for the four predicates have been filling up steadily.

The DEKM 2022 season starts with several new features: BRP-Rotax, the official partner of the DEKM, providing the E-Karts and a team of specialists for the coordination and support on sites, has developed a new category which means that the DEKM 2022 is now coming with Junior and Senior class. Furthermore, the E-Karts are equipped with the MOJO D5 and W5 tires.

2022 is a special year for the German Karting championship. The highest German Kart racing series goes into its 60th season and therefore counts as one of the oldest championships worldwide. On January 20th 2022, the online registration opens online at www.kart-dm.de. The entry fee is significantly lowered for the 2022 season.

This year the PdB Racing Team returns to international top level in OK, OKJ and KZ.
