Thomas Knopper has died in an accident during the fourth round of the German Karting Championship (DKM) in Liedolsheim, Germany. The 19 year old Dutch driver from Bilthoven crashed directly after the start when Knopper collided with an other competitor. He hit a wall and died instantly as a consequence to the heavy crash. Thomas, 1990-2009, was one of the biggest Dutch talents. Besides several Dutch Championship titles, his biggest achievement was to become European Champion ICC in 2007. But above all. He was a friendly sportsman who loved to race! The finish came to early...
