Kosmic Racing confident for Lonato Wntercup
Published by Bas Kaligis 21 februari 2009 12:21 - Print | | The Kosmic Racing Team Department is ready to forget its successful seasonal début and is already thinking to the forthcoming event at the South Garda track in Lonato: the 14th edition of the Winter Cup.
The new Kosmic chassis, called Mercury, proved without any doubt that the technical material is at the top and the podium in Super KF won by Armand Convers was completely deserved.
Moreover the acuter observers will have noticed that the results gained in the WSK race in La Conca by our team were inferior to the ones that we gained during all the weekend.
Felice Tiene, despite of the accident in which he was involved, was one of the fastest drivers in KF2. During the heats Bressan in Super KF was stopped by a banal hole in the tyre, the right rear one.
On occasion of the Winter Cup it will be really cold, the asphalt will not be in the best conditions and the uncertain temperature will be one of the main technical variable to keep under control. The new Kosmic chassis together with the Vortex engine are extremely versatile, the Mercury model is perfect on every track and to every kind of temperature.
The Kosmic Kart Racing Department staff is confident in the future thanks to great technical material at their disposal and they will try to improve the performances done during the first race of the WSK Series.

“We have been really competitive since the first moment we went down to the track, this is the prove of the high quality of the new technical material. The engines are a guarantee, so, we can be optimist thinking that we are not at the top of our conditions yet.
I was impressed also by the drivers line-up, we have made many improvements therefore we have the possibility to do a great season.
On Sunday in Lonato it will be a further testing-bench for us because we know which are our aims, however we will try to do our best in order to gained a first seasonal success.”
