The 2009 agonistic season will carry lots of novelties for the Easykart project in America. First of all, the commercial distribution structure will change, by passing from a single dealer for all the continent, to an arrangement with an operator for each state, which will directly deal with Birel (promoter company of the project). Since Easykart America Inc’s birth, founded in 2003 by Pablo Montoya, the Easykart import and distribution has been always managed by this structure for all the continent (South America included), even after Rudy Ramsaroop bought out the company from Montoya in 2006.
The reorganization of the Easykart commercial structure in the American continent became necessary in order to optimize the costs and the distribution service, for the users benefit. Moreover, the new arrangement allows Birel to follow each market in first person, having a direct involvement in every problem. Besides the retail network, since 2009 there will be interventions also for what concerns the national championships, each one will respect the Easykart International Regulation and it will be followed by a promoter recognized by Birel.
This reorganization will start from the state of Florida, where the company Kartech Motorsports Inc. has substituted the previous Easykart America as operator. The managers will be Joffre Amaya and Miguel Llorens, who have already opened a new and exclusive head office in one of the most prestigious areas of Miami.
They will also manage the organization of the FKCS national championship (Florida Karting Championship Series), which will start in May. Rudy Ramsaroop, in any case, will always keep bound to Easykart with a consultant role for Birel, operating on new potential markets with the aim to extend the format to other states, in North, Central and South America.
In this new scene, there will be a dealer and a national championship in each state in a medium-term, with a more rational general organization. The drivers that will access to the World Finals, in all probability, will be selected from two maxi-events: the panamerican championship for South and Central America and a single final for the Usa and Canada.
It is to be said that the 2009 season will carry novelties also from the technical point of view. In fact, the 60cc, 100cc and 125cc classes will be equipped with the new BMB engines produced by Birel, which will be equal to the previous Iame for what concerns the performances, but with a more modern conception. The new karts will be presented in preview, on the 4th of April.
