Monza line with homologation CIK-FIA 2009-2014 will be characterized by 4 models, two for the KF classes (and for all categories without speed change) and two for KZ -Shifter categories. By ZY 32 A code is identified the top model of the range designed for KF classes which, in the KZ Shifter version, becomes ZY 32 C. The ZY project took advantage of the work done in Birel racing department with Giacomo Patrono in KF2 at the beginning of the season ans the French Thomas Mich in the KZ1categories. As it already happened in the past two other models (one for KF classes and one for KZ categories) have been homologated with less sophisticated technical expedients in order to offer a quality alternative to the market being simple to be used and with a great ratio quality-price. These models will be identified by the codes ZX 32 A (KF version) and ZX 32 C (KZ version). About the sets up, ZY range karts will be standardly equipped with Freeline magnesium (DF +DF) wheels and six 180 plugs front cylinders. All models, instead, have in common the new braking system CX with the brake disc "W"which, upon pilot's preferences, can be chosen in steel or cast iron. With cast iron brake discs breaking is more adjustable by optimizing the functioning temperature as well. Monza range also includes two models for young classes: ZC 28 version with CSAI homologation for the MINI category and ZB 28 model, always with CSAI homologation for the BABY class. Both these karts have been improved with some structural changes that remarkably bettered their performance, furthermore, both will have a new thrust bearing support that will enable three different height adjustments.
The models with CIK-FIA homologation
KART ZY 32 A (KF) and ZY 32 C (KZ): The chassis geometries remain unchanged while the technical characteristics of the body tubes (of 32mm) have been modified, making this model even more effective in its performances over the top categories that require tyres of medium-soft compound with rubbered tracks. The 4th tube is removable in such a way that "frees " the chassis when needed, while the accessories are all among the top of the Freeline range. Among them stands out the CX breaking system available with "W" break discs either in steel or cast iron. The careening trace out the linees of the previous homologation under the aesthetic view point, but they have been optimized in their global weight reduced to about 1,5 kg.
KART ZX 32 A (KF) and ZX 32 C (KZ): Compared to ZY version , ZX models (also realized with 32mm tubes) are distinguished by less sophisticated design solutions among wich the unadjustable thrust bearing support . Other differences concern the technical characteristics of the tube and the accessories which, for example, include steel wheels. The breaking system is the same as the one of ZY version that is the effective CX which can be chosen with "W" break discs either in steel or in cast iron. The 4th tube next to the seat can be removed in case less rear grip would be required, while regarding the agonistic use , ZX models are particularly suitable for the national championship, thanks to their great versatility with all type of tyres and the excellent ratio price-quality.
