Thomas Knopper is back in karting

Thomas Knopper is back behind the wheel of a PCR. The 2007 European KZ2 Champion made in 2008 the move to Formule Renault 2.0L. However Knopper decided to leave cars and he goes back to his roots. Thomas will stay another two years in karting together with the PCR team of Anton van Grunsven.

“I have had the taste of carracing, but we have decided to put the cars on a hold. And I’ve signed a two years contract with AVG Racing. I have great memories and we try to get some great results in 2009.”

Thomas Knopper will race in the KZ1 and the schedule for 2009 is European championship, World Cup, WSK and the DKM.
