The CRG brand, known all over the world for its top quality and competitive products, has added yet another success to its already long list of victories by winning the World Cup for KZ1 in Varennes sur Allier with Jonathan Thonon. “The work we have done so far, combined with the expertise of our team and of all our partners, is finally paying off”, the Belgian driver said. “Unfortunately, after a series of race mishaps I was 13th at the end of timed qualifying, but thanks to my CRG-Maxter I regained the lead and won, and I also set the best lap time both in the pre-final and in the final”.
After all the excellent results achieved in KF1 – vice European Champion with two victories –, Arnaud Kozlinski has added the finishing touch to the successful performance of his team with a fourth place. “There were several very competitive CRG-Maxter drivers, said Giancarlo Tinini, in charge of the Italian brand. “Suffice it to mention the second best time in timed qualifying set by Alessandro Manetti, or the excellent qualification of young Nicola Nolè and Rick Dreezen, who started from 2nd and 3rd place on the grid respectively in the pre-final phase, just when Yannick Savard climbed from 34th to 9th place. As for the KF3 category, Clemente Picariello (VDK team) showed an excellent performance at the wheel of his CRG-Maxter. He was a candidate for victory but finished fourth after a little accident”.
At Varennes sur Allier, CRG proved once again its ability in realising a whole range of highperformance chassis for all its drivers, regardless of their rankings, nationality or category! |
