Oliver Rowland has been chosen by the Tony Kart Racing Team to bear the greens colours in the KF2 class in the forthcoming karting season.
Tony Kart is pleased to announce to have reached an agreement with Oliver Rowland, confident that the young English driver is one of the most talented budding drivers of the whole and present karting scene.
The Italian Factory already knew the great potential of Rowland and the staff appreciated his behaviour in and outside the track, carefully observing him during the whole previous season.
Oliver, Olly for friends, made his début in the karting world in 2001, when he was only 9; from his very first experience, the young driver from Penistone grew a lot from the technical point of view, thanks to the victories he gained. Now, he is ready to take the qualitative leap: facing the binding and hardened drivers of the International karting scene. With Oliver Rowland, another “heavy” plug is adding to our official formation.
Giacomo Aliprandi - Team Manager of Tony Kart Racing Team: “Oliver is a young driver who showed his great potential, constantly improving year after year. This will be his first complete season in the International scene, he will have to learn lots of new things, such as the working methods of our Racing Team. I think that it will be an intense season, in which he will have the opportunity to take a further qualitative leap in his career. We will do the best we can in order to let him adapt himself perfectly at the Tony Kart Racing Team and we will give him all the support he will need. Actually, we have a positive relation with English drivers and we want to go on having this perfect tuning.”
