The final prize of the WSK INTERNATIONAL SERIES 2007 will be awarded to Yannick DeBrabander. A test in a single-seater Formula BMW at the Portugese Cicruit of Estoril is scheduled from 1rst to 2nd november for the Belgian driver, winner in the KF2 class of the WSK 2007.
Yannick De Brabander is the winner of the final prize of the WSK International Series 2007, awarded in partnership with Red Bull.
The Belgian, winning in this “FIA Authorised Series” in the class KF2 with a Maranello-Parilla, is the selected driver for a driving test in a single-seater Formula BMW. During the season recently concluded, the Organiser WSK Promotion together with Red Bull have examined the performances of the drivers competing in the five rounds of the WSK International Series in order to choose, among them, the winner of this important opportunity.
The aim of this selection was to highlight the talented young drivers who will be able in a next future to run for motor sport. Therefore, have been taken into observation the drivers between 15 and 17, able not only to obtain the best results but also gifted with boldness and fighting spirit. During the series 2007 Yannick De Brabander, the sixteen driver from Antwerp (B), has proved to hold each of these characteristics: his victory in the WSK International Series has been the result of very exciting races, driving the karts from the official team Maranello Kart.
The test session is scheduled on Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd November at the Portuguese circuit of Estoril. |
