Tony Kart Racing Team is proud to announce that the profitable collaboration with the young Driver Will Stevens will go on in the KF1 Class in 2008.
At the Tony Kart Head-quarter, the agreement has been renewed with the satisfaction of both the parties. After a 2007 Season rich in results, the Tony Kart Racing Team Management and the English Driver think that it’s time to climb the important step and pass to the KF1 Class, queen class of the international karting.
The couple Tony Kart – Will Stevens got many important victories during the season, such as: Asia Pacific Cup, KF2 International Open Masters and the recent winning of the KF2 European Championship. To the end of the season, we only miss the KF2 World Cup.
The agonistic program for the incoming 2008 expects to participate to all the most important international competitions such as the European Championship, the World Cup and the World Championship and for sure the biggest aim is to race at the top.
Giacomo Aliprandi – Team Manager of Tony Kart Racing Team
“We are surely very happy of this collaboration with Stevens, we are also sure that in KF1 he will be able to show the stuff he is made of.
At the beginning he will not have the necessary experience for the KF1 class, but Will is a driver able to do his best. For sure, he could take advantage of being a team-mate of professional drivers such as Marco Ardigò and Gary Catt, because they will help him in growing faster as a driver. Moreover, the Team will try to help him in maturing in a good way and in having the possibility to aim at prestige positions.”
Will Stevens – driver Tony Kart Racing Team
“I am very happy to have signed again for Tony Kart in KF1. I like working very much with the team and it has a great atmosphere. Next year should be a very good year and I will have to learn a lot racing against the best, but I am very determined to follow my results from this year into next year so I will have to work very hard for this but I am confident I can gain some good results. Next week in Mariembourg I am looking forward to very much and I hope I can end my season in KF2 on a high and win the World Cup. I would just like to thank everyone at Tonykart and Vortex for their hard work this year and everyone else who has helped me get this success this year.” |
