Max Verstappen leaves CRG and joins Intrepid
Published by Bas Kaligis 22 december 2011 18:44 - Print | | The decision has been taken: Max Verstappen changes from CRG to Intrepid. The son of former F1-racer Jos Verstappen will become factory driver for Intrepid and for TM Engines. Verstappen will participate in all major races in the KF1.
Verstappen drove years with succes for the kartbrand CRG. He won a lot of titels for the brand but now he switches to Intrepid. "We have been thinking for a long time and I have spoken a lot with Max about it. Intrepid has been following us for 2 years now. We stand behind our decision. Intrepid is performing well. I think it's important that they are interested in Max, the enthousiasm and the dedication at Intrepid is great and the engines are important as well. Max will become a factorydriver for TM. TM is a stable factory and has years of experience. That combination is good, we are on the same level. We have been testing for two days and it went very well. Max has driven a shifterkart. He is total loss now, but he was very fast. He is very satisfied", was the first reaction from Jos Verstappen to KartXpress.com. |
