RECORD ATTENDANCE FOR THE THIRD EDITION OF “KART AND RACE” AT THE EXHIBITION CENTRE OF MONTICHIARI (BRESCIA – ITALY). BEATEN THE RECORD OF VISITORS WITH AN ATTENDANCE OF MORE THAN 6,600 PEOPLE DURING THE THREE DAYS OF THE EVENT. ON SUNDAY 3,200 VISITORS CROWDED THE STANDS OF THE KARTING FAIR
Montichiari (Brescia - Italy). A great number of visitors on the third and last day of the fair “Kart and Race” sealed the success of the exhibition dedicated to karting, confirming once again the interest of the public towards this event organised by the Exhibition Centre of Montichiari.
The more than seventy stands of this year’s exhibitors were literally assaulted by the 3,200 visitors who crowded the fair only on Sunday, as well as lots of people attended to the astonishing tricks of the CRG top drivers in the tests on the outdoor track set up in collaboration with the Ferrari Club of Castenedolo.
In this year’s edition, the record for the overall number of visitors was beaten, with a total attendance of 6,600 people during the three days of the exhibition, with many visitors coming from abroad.
A good success obtained also thanks to the partnership of ACI-CSAI, WSK Promotion and the Automobile Club of Brescia, besides the media partners StopandGo web and TV, the monthly magazine TKart, and the websites Italiankart and Kartcom.
Several are the constructors who chose this third edition of the “Kart and Race” fair to show both their production and their official teams for the season, which is due to start in few weeks with the traditional opening race of the Winter Cup of Lonato on 13th February.
Almost all the exhibitors expressed their satisfaction for the good success. Anna Haase, of the homonymous kart brand, pointed out: “For us this fair, organised in Italy, is a major event. We steadily believe in it, and we hope to stir up the interest of a greater number of visitors not only from Italy but from abroad too. I think this event has all the characteristics to become the most important fair at world level for karting. However, all the major kart constructors have their headquarters in Italy, so it is fair for Italy to be the venue of the most significant exhibition of the sector.”
The third edition of “Kart and Race” was outstanding for its greater number of exhibitors and for the presence of many constructors of chassis, engines, tyres, accessories, technical gear, historic karts, components and a wide variety of kart products, besides having set an outdoor track for testing and practicing which has definitely many opportunities for further developments, in order to be more appealing for all the fans.
