The Team made a big step to being one of the strongest and biggest racing teams in international karting, Rotax powered, Birel factory karts and HRS racing engines. Kalman Motorsport greet the English Rotax Max Champion Tom Fawcett into the team alongside the Austrian duo Sandro Lukovic and Niki Laa. On the side of the "big" names the team can present Chad van Beurden from South-Africa, Evangelos Gavalas from Greece, Sandor Jakab from Slovakia and Jan Wüntschek from Austria in the Rotax Max Senior class for the Euro Challenge.
In the junior Class Kalman Motorsport will welcome Jordan Pepper from South-Africa - who finished 5th in the ROK World Final 2010 - and the talented hungarian driver Vince Hercsik who is one of the youngest drivers ever in the Euro Challenge history.
Kalman Motorsport founded a new racing team together with A1Speedworld from Austria. Peter Kalman the owner of the team: "The team has come through a big development, thanks to the great results at the Euro Challenge and World Finals and also other National Championships. The team gets world class support from the Birel Factory and from Nigel Horner (HRS RACING ENGINES), and try to stay as one of the most successful Rotax racing teams in the karting paddock. It would not be possible without a great drivers like Tom Fawcett, Sandro Lukovic and Niki Laa. Tom is one of the most distinguished drivers of the Rotax scene and I'm happy to greet him into my Birel Team. Highly experienced drivers like Sandro and Niki can help and work with the new drivers from different countries. With this Team we have the possibility to be competitive in all conditions and have the best performance."
"I'm very happy to have founded a new racing team with Mr. Harald Egger the owner of the racing track Bruck. The Shop at the Track now is one of the official Birel dealers in Austria and we hope to start a long collaboration to school the young talented drivers. Kalman Motorsport are supporting more than 30 drivers in the different championships in the season 2011." |
